Security Issues

Daily Express Bingo recognise that online security is an area of vital importance for all customers. It is imperative that you should be fully satisfied that your personal details are 100% secure before you commence betting.

Encryption

A key area of online security is encryption using the 128 bit SSL mechanism, that is to say that information you provide us with is encrypted so that it cannot be read across the internet. This encryption is used on all pages of our payment system.

Limited Data Retention

As a further level of security we do not store your full credit card details in our database.

We only store the first six digits and the last four digits. Customers must enter the remaining digits when depositing funds.

Another security measure is that we register each customer's IP address. This helps us monitor sudden changes in playing behavior, which can indicate that a customer's membership number and access-code may have been compromised. Please note that in the event that you notice changes to your account status, you must email us immediately so we can investigate. This ability in no way obligates Daily Express Bingo to investigate this kind of abnormality.

The harm an intruder can do if the intruder manages to break an access-code is limited to using the access-code for playing only. The access-code cannot be used for revealing the credit card number or other sensitive information.

Privacy

The CB Malta Corporation Limited ("CBM") adheres to the Data Protection Act, other relevant regulations, legal notices and/or similar at the Place of the Contract taking account of the Data Protection Directive (EC Directive 95/46/EC) and the Electronics Communications Privacy Directive (EC Directive/2002/58/EC).

All the aforementioned is in place in order to assure Account Holders that at all times personal data is:
  • all personal data is processed in accordance with the rights of the account holder concerned;
  • all personal data is processed fairly and lawfully;
  • all personal data is always processed in accordance with good practice;
  • personal data is only collected for specific, explicitly stated and legitimate purposes, namely: set up personal profiles, provide information about CBM's promotional offers when requested by customer and comply with regulatory requirements under money laundering legislation;
  • personal data is not processed for any purpose that is incompatible with that for which the information is collected;
CBM discloses personal data when ordered to do so by order of the Governing Authorities and/or under provision in the Governing Law.

Furthermore, CBM reserves the right to disclose personal data to relevant recipients when the company has reasonable grounds to suspect irregularities that involve a customer's account; namely: suspected underage gaming, transactions of suspicious nature such us fraud, money laundering, suspected collusion, unauthorized use of our chats, account dormancy and registration of complaint with the relevant gaming authority.

Customer Relationship Management ("CRM"): CBM reserves the right to process personal data for CRM purposes.

CBM will not email, or otherwise telephone, text message or mail you, offers of our products and services unless you specifically request it when registering with us. At any time you may reverse your selection (either opt-in or opt-out).

The customer has the right to acquire access to the customer's own personal data and/or has the right to correct and/or erase wrong and/or inappropriate data. Winner Disclosure

CBM reserves the right to disclose the alias, visual image, vocal sound, likeness, gender and county/city/town of residence for prize winners over £2,500.00. Acceptance of any prizes constitutes irrevocable permission to CBM and/or its advertising agencies to use the said winner's alias, visual image, vocal sound, likeness, gender and county/city/town of residence for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation, unless it is prohibited by law.

Winners shall release and hold harmless CBM, parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents for any and all liability for injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the CBM's contests or prizes won or any publication of winner's alias, visual image, vocal sound, likeness, gender.
